Cancelation Policy

We strive to provide excellent service to our guests. In order to do so, we have updated our Cancelation, No-Show, and Late Appointment policy. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. If a cancelation is necessary please cancel at this time and no closer to your scheduled appointment. Since the services are reserved for you personally, a cancelation fee may apply.
Guests who cancel their appointments without proper notice or do not show up for their reserved appointment times are considered a "No-show".



  • First No-Show: 

If you No-Show for a scheduled appointment, you will receive a telephone call from us informing you that you missed a scheduled appointment and we will reschedule the missed appointment for a time convenient for you. At this time, we will remind you that a second No-Show appointment will require a charge.


  • Second No-Show:

If you No-Show for a scheduled appointment for a second time, a fee equal to 50% of the missed service(s) will be posted to your salon account. Accumulated fees must be paid prior to booking any future appointments, and a credit card will be required to book future appointments for probationary period of time.


  • Third No-Show:

If you No-Show a third time, you will be required to pay a fee equal to 100% of the missed services. A credit card will be required to book all future appointments.


    Appointments made within a 24 hour period and need to cancel, the client then must cancel within 4 hours of appointment time or this may result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.


1st No Show = Warning

2nd = 50% of services owed

3rd = 100% of services owed. Credit Card required to book future appointments



The cancellation policy allows us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping our team members schedule's filled, thus better serving everyone. Smooth Hair Studio’s policies are put in place to keep our excellent service for our established and future clientele. Thank you for viewing and supporting our policies criteria.

We will always try our best to accommodate you if you’re running behind, stuck in traffic, etc.  It happens, we know! However, your tardiness can affect the remainder of our stylist's day and your services by delaying them for their clients who come in on time.  For this reason, we have set a few general ground rules for such situations. Please call Before your appointment start time.  Depending on the delayed start time you may have to forgo parts of the service in order to keep it in the time allotted for you. Please, always call if you even think you might be late; we’d rather know as early as possible so we can do our best to fit you in without upsetting the flow of our day.  


Again, please remember that your appointments are reserved for you & only you.  These policies allow us the opportunity to alert our standby clients of any openings, therefore allowing us to provide the best service possible.  We very much appreciate your business and compliance with our policies.  See you soon!
